CAKE SERVING SIZE GUIDE
Please see the chart below for cake sizes and servings when trying to determine the right size cake for your event. All of our cakes are priced by the cake size, not by the serving size as the number of servings may vary depending on who is cutting the cake. Signature and Premium square and round cakes are torted to give you 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of filling. These cakes will range between 4 and 4.5 inches tall. There is a range for the number of servings for each cake size. The lower end of the range represents how the average person will cut a cake, while the high end is typically how a caterer or wedding venue will cut the cake. Crowd Pleaser cakes are typically 3.5″ tall.
ROUND CAKES
6″ round yields 8-12 servings
8″ round yields 12-24 servings
10″ round yields 24-38 servings
12″ round yields 38- 56 servings
14″ round yields 56-78 servings
SQUARE CAKES
6″ square yields 12-18 servings
8″ square yields 18-32 servings
10″ square yields 35-50 servings
12″ square yields 50- 72 servings
14″ square yields 72-98 servings
SHEET CAKES
All sheet cakes are approximately 2″ tall, single layer cakes with no filling. There is a range for the number of servings for each cake size. The lower end of the range represents how the average person will cut a cake, while the high end is typically how a caterer or wedding venue will cut the cake.
¼ Sheet cake or “9×13” yields 18- 24 servings
1/3 Sheet cake 11”x15” yields 24-35 servings
½ Sheet cake 12”x18” yields 35- 50 servings
