Introduction

Out of the Bubble bakery, is always dairy free, always nut free, vegan, with gluten-friendly options.  We have amazing recipes that use primarily organic ingredients to craft delectable desserts. We can accommodate a wide range allergies and special diets including dairy free, egg free, nut free, soy-free, vegan, artificial dye free, gluten free, and wheat free.

We have strict processes in place to avoid cross-contact. All our employees have a ServSafe Food Allergy certification. We’ve done all the leg work in finding safe ingredients and we can’t wait to provide that very special dessert for your celebration. Our Process

Although we offer a variety of allergy friendly treats, all of our products are processed in the same kitchen, but we take great care with all our products.  Our entire staff is trained on food allergies and hold a ServSafe Food Allergy Certification. We always check labels of ingredients and monitor USDA and FDA food safety recalls.

To help prevent cross-contact we:

  • We start with the most sensitive order first
  • Utensils never touch more than one ingredient
  • We thoroughly wash and sanitize all utensils, equipment, and surfaces between products
  • We change aprons and gloves to prevent cross-contact
  • We have dedicated stand mixers for gluten-free/wheat free products

Dairy-free: All products are dairy-free. Ingredients have been carefully selected such that they also have not been processed in a facility or on equipment the processes dairy.

Egg-free: We specialize in egg-free baked goods. Ingredients have been carefully selected such that they also have not been processed in a facility or on equipment the processes eggs.  In August of 2022, we retired our last product that contained eggs. We are now completely egg-free and vegan. 

Gluten-free/Wheat free:  Some of our products are gluten-free (wheat-free).  All gluten-free and wheat-free product line ingredients have been carefully selected such that they have not been manufactured in a facility or on equipment the processes gluten or wheat. For our gluten-free products, we do use a separate stand mixer, but all other equipment is shared but washed and sanitized prior to use. 

Legume-free: We do not use legumes such as chickpeas, lentils, pea protein in any of our products.

Peanut-free: All products are peanut-free. Ingredients have been carefully selected such that they also have not been processed in a facility or on equipment the processes peanuts. 

Tree nut-free: All products are tree nut-free to include coconut-free. Ingredients have been carefully selected such that they have not been processed in a facility or on equipment the processes tree nuts and coconuts.

Sesame free: All products are sesame-free. Ingredients have been carefully selected such that they have not been processed in a facility or on equipment the processes sesame.

Soy-free: All our baked goods are soy-free as well as all products sold on for grab-and-go and on our online store.  However, optional add-on decorative elements like some brands of sprinkles contain soy that can be added by request only to custom decorated desserts.  All other ingredients have been carefully selected such that they have not been processed in a facility or on equipment that processes soy.

Vegan:  Most of our products are vegan, including our organic cane sugar.  Some pre-made add-on decorative elements may contain animal products and can be added on by request only to custom decorated desserts. Please see our other notes on dairy-free and egg-free. We do not use any products containing fish, shellfish, gelatin, beef, or pork.

Our Quality Ingredients

We bake everything from scratch with quality ingredients. We have done all the leg work in finding safe ingredients for you.  The majority of our ingredients are organic, non-GMO, and fair trade too. Although we do our best to find organic and non-GMO ingredients, there are ingredients that we have not been able to find that are both organic and allergy-friendly. In those cases, we have chosen the allergy-friendly brand over the organic brand.  We never stop looking for the best ingredients. We use:

  • Organic unbleached wheat flours
  • Our house blend gluten-free flour (non-GMO, rice, sorghum, potato, and tapioca flours)
  • Organic fair-trade, vegan unbleached cane sugar (vegan)
  • Organic, fair-trade powdered sugar (vegan)
  • Organic gluten-free oats
  • Organic, fair-trade cocoa butter, chocolates, and cocoa powder
  • Organic fruit for our fillings, frostings, and cakes
  • Organic, fair-trade palm oil for cookies, scones, pies, etc
  • Sustainable palm shortening for frosting
  • Organic rice milk
  • Organic spices
  • Real Vanilla extract
  • Canola Oil (non-GMO)
